Hello!
Welcome to our website!
We are Lowell and Julie Frederick.
In 2007 we purchased Nature’s Wisdom Garlic’s seed crop from Brad Horn and moved the operation and website to Woods Edge Farm in London, Ohio.
Lowell and I farm 20 acres organically and were very happy to be able to add Brad’s wonderful hardneck and artichoke garlic varieties to our farm. We are looking forward to a successful year. We would like to thank Brad and Willow Horn for all of their support, valuable information and help with the launching of Nature’s Wisdom garlic in Ohio.
Lowell and I will continue the excellent work that Brad started over 13 years ago. His garlic is of the highest quality. We hope to be able to continue in his footsteps.
We use nothing but organic fertilizers and pest controls here at Woods Edge Farm. Lowell and I are in the process of becoming organically certified.
We both hope that you will put your trust in us as you did in Brad. We will both strive to give you the same fine product and service that Brad and Willow have offered you over the years.
Lowell and I also will be offering several new items such as
Garlic Braids, and
Frozen
Minced Garlic. The mincing and immediate freezing of the garlic gives our customers the opportunity to enjoy our garlic all through the winter season.
Our Frozen
Minced Garlic is available via overnight shipping only.
We will also be offering the Bogatyr variety of hardneck garlic plus all the wonderful varieties that Brad has offered you over the years. See
below for further information on each variety.
Also, please be sure to check out our line of
Sirius Soaps and Essentials, all-natural soap and crèmes made form scratch here at Woods Edge Farm.
We will also be offering farm produce and products as the spring and summer progresses so be sure and check the website often.
Here’s to a wonderful beginning and a great 2008 season!

Garlic Pesticide Recipe
Peeled garlic cloves (hardneck garlic is best!)
Neem Oil
Water
Mixture - 10 parts water to 2 parts Neem Oil and 1 part Garlic
Pulse garlic in your food processor until garlic is a very fine pulp. Add the correct amount of neem oil and water for your solution. Mix thoroughly by hand.
You can run this through your hose attachment if you have one, or you can use a backpack sprayer or watering can. Apply sparingly as needed to the affected areas and plants that are close to the affected area. Shake often to keep everything mixed. Do not store! Mix what you need and then discard the rest!
